A Doncaster woman has been handed a three-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) after a spree of thefts from local shops. Sarah Connor, 39, appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (11 September), where the court heard details of her recent thefts, which included items such as coffee, washing up liquid, and boxes of chocolate, amounting to over £220 in stolen goods.

As part of her CBO, Connor is prohibited from entering any One Stop stores in Doncaster, as well as Home Bargains in Edlington, for a period of three years.
He added, “I welcome the order brought against Connor and hope this sends a message that this behaviour will not be tolerated in our city.

The Doncaster neighbourhood policing team continues to crack down on shoplifting and work closely with local businesses to prevent future incidents.
