A driver has been handed an 11-year prison sentence following a head-on collision that resulted in the death of a motorist in north Shropshire. Damien Roberts, 27, was behind the wheel of a Nissan Qashqai when he crashed into a Nissan Juke on a bridge over the River Ceiriog along the A5 near Chirk on December 2nd.
Tragically, Robert James Mills, 49, from Shrewsbury, lost his life at the scene of the accident. The collision was a devastating event that had a profound impact on the victim’s family and loved ones.
