Drug dealer behind bars after pleading guilty

A man has been sentenced to 25 months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs in Surrey.

Ardit Misini, 21 from Greenford in Ealing, was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 25 May.

The investigation into Misini began on 24 November 2023 when officers stopped his car on Ladbroke Grove in Redhill. A large quantity of cash could be seen in the driver’s door and, as Misini was acting furtively, he was detained under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs act. A package could be seen in his trousers and he was challenged that this was cocaine. He pulled out the package which was later confirmed as 20 bags of cocaine. Misini was arrested for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and remanded in Custody.

Investigating officer, PC Oliver Dujardin, said: “Drug dealing can have a hugely detrimental impact on the local community, and we will continue to go after those people who disregard the law for their own greed.”
