Young drug dealer locked up after Redhill car stop bust
Misini caught with 20 bags of cocaine in trousers
Ardit Misini, 21, from Greenford, Ealing, has been handed 25 months behind bars after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The sentence was passed at Winchester Crown Court on 25 May following a police stop on 24 November 2023. Officers pulled over Misini’s car on Ladbroke Grove, Redhill, and spotted a large sum of cash on the driver’s door.
Furtive behaviour leads to drug discovery
Misini was acting suspiciously, prompting officers to detain him under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. A package hidden in his trousers was challenged by the officers, who suspected it might be cocaine.
Misini pulled out the package, which later turned out to be 20 bags of cocaine. He was arrested on the spot for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and remanded in custody.
Police vow to crack down on local drug crime
“Drug dealing can have a hugely detrimental impact on the local community, and we will continue to go after those people who disregard the law for their own greed,” said investigating officer, PC Oliver Dujardin.
