Woman Charged with Murder After Death of Two-Year-Old Eliza Ngaba

 

A woman has been charged with murder following the tragic death of two-year-old Eliza Ngaba.

Sarah Ngaba, 30, currently an inmate at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, has been formally charged in connection with Eliza’s death at the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford on August 15, 2022.

Ngaba is scheduled to appear before Telford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 6, where she will face the murder charge.

In a separate matter, Ngaba had previously been convicted of grievous bodily harm with intent in November 2020. She was handed a 14-year custodial sentence for that offence.

West Mercia Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding Eliza’s death.
