Fifth person charged over Hackney Murder
Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Daniel Frederick in Hackney on Monday, 8 January have charged a fifth person with murder. The 17-year-old boy was charged on Wednesday, 9 May and will appear in custody at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 10 May. Four people have previously been charged with murder. Two 16-year-old boys ; a 17-year-old boy and Kacper Karasinski, 18 of Mount Pleasant Lane, Hackney will appear at the Old Bailey on the same day for a plea and trial preparation hearing. A 26-year-old man arrested on Wednesday, 10 January on suspicion of murder has been released under investigation. A 41-year-old woman arrested on Monday, 29 January on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been released under investigation.
