Fifth Suspect Joins Murder Charge Over Hackney Stabbing
Detectives have hit a new milestone in the hunt for Daniel Frederick’s killer. A fifth person, a 17-year-old boy, was charged with murder on Wednesday, 9 May. He is set to face the Old Bailey court in custody on Thursday, 10 May.
Four Others Also Charged Over Tragic Stabbing
Earlier, four suspects were charged with murder. They include two 16-year-old boys, another 17-year-old boy, and Kacper Karasinski, 18, from Mount Pleasant Lane, Hackney. All four will appear at the Old Bailey alongside the latest suspect for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 10 May.
Further Arrests See Releases Amid Ongoing Probe
- A 26-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder on 10 January, has been released under investigation.
- A 41-year-old woman, arrested on 29 January for assisting an offender, has also been released under investigation.
The investigation into Daniel Frederick’s fatal stabbing on 8 January in Hackney remains active, with police continuing their efforts to bring all responsible to justice.
