Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to an emergency call reporting a fire at an industrial building located on a farm in Headcorn Road, Smarden, Ashford. Firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene, and at the peak of the incident, ten fire engines, along with additional support vehicles, were deployed to combat the blaze.

The fire, which engulfed the industrial building, posed a significant challenge to the firefighters. To combat the flames and prevent further spread, the courageous responders donned protective gear, including breathing apparatus, and utilized high-pressure hose reel jets and main jets to douse the fire. The swift and coordinated efforts of the firefighters successfully brought the blaze under control.
