A man who was convicted of murdering his wife over 25 years ago has been hit with additional criminal charges after new developments in the case.

Andrew Griggs, who was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his wife, Debbie Griggs, in 1999, is now facing charges of perverting the course of justice and obstructing a coroner in the execution of their duty.
Andrew Griggs is scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 13 February 2025, to face these additional charges. The investigation into the case remains ongoing, with Kent Police continuing to pursue justice for Debbie Griggs and her family.
