Jack Anthony Rowland, 24, of Dorchester, has been sentenced to 11 years in prison after being convicted of non-fatal strangulation, criminal damage, assault, and two counts of rape. The sentencing took place at Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday, November 27, 2023.
The first incident unfolded on November 11, 2022, at Rowland’s home address in Dorchester. A young woman, despite expressing her objection, was strangled and raped by Rowland. The second incident occurred between February 17 and February 18, 2023, involving the same victim.
