Justice has been served for our David after couple are jailed
Following the sentence of Sakib Salim and Rozia Salim who killed David pair both being jailed the family of David Pickup, issued the following : “After an agonising wait of 13 months, we have justice for our son David, who was tragically killed in a hit and run incident on Hicks Farm Rise, High Wycombe, on 16 January 2017. “Words are insufficient to describe our loss. We would like to thank Thames Valley Police, particularly Sergeant Beth Walton, PC Phil Hanham and PC Sally Barden for all their help and support and also all family and friends, David’s friends, during this painful time. “We hope that the sentencing of Sakib and Rozia Salim may serve as a deterrent to drivers, that they may be mindful of not causing death by dangerous driving.”
