Justice Served for David Pickup After Hit-and-Run Tragedy

After a long 13-month wait, the family of David Pickup finally got the justice they deserved. David was cruelly killed in a hit-and-run on Hicks Farm Rise, High Wycombe, back on 16 January 2017.

Family Breaks Silence

The grieving family said: “Words can’t express our loss. We want to thank Thames Valley Police, especially Sergeant Beth Walton, PC Phil Hanham, and PC Sally Barden, for their unwavering support. Our heartfelt thanks also go out to all family, friends, and David’s pals who stood by us in this painful time.”

Warning to Reckless Drivers

The family hopes the sentencing of Sakib and Rozia Salim, both now behind bars, will send a strong message to motorists. “We hope this verdict serves as a deterrent to drivers everywhere to take care and avoid causing tragedies through dangerous driving.”
