Brighton and Hove Lifeguards Back on Duty for 2024!
The 2024 Beach Lifeguard Service is officially up and running! Lifeguards will patrol Brighton and Hove’s busiest beaches daily from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM, keeping holidaymakers safe all summer long.
Where to Find Lifeguard Towers This Year
Newly positioned lifeguard towers are ready to watch over swimmers and sunbathers at key spots:
- Kemp Town Beach (BN3 1EN)
- East of Brighton Palace Pier (BN2 1PS)
- Albion Beach (BN2 1TD)
- Central Brighton, West Street (BN1 2FN)
- West Pier Beach (BN1 2LN)
- King Alfred (BN3 2WW) – lifeguards here operate 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Swim Smart: Stay Between the Flags
Beachgoers are strongly urged to swim between the flags on lifeguarded beaches for maximum safety. Professional lifeguards slash accident risks and deliver swift help in emergencies—vital for a worry-free day by the sea.
