Man arrested after serious collision in Northfleet

Collision investigation officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision at Northfleet. The incident took place at around 11.30pm on Thursday 30th May 2019 on the High Street at its junction with Vicarage Drive, and involved a grey Toyota Prius, a green Ford Fiesta and a cyclist. A man was treated at the scene for serious injuries. A 33-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody. Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and are urging anyone who saw the cars or the cyclist in the moments leading up to the collision, or who have dash cam footage from the area around the time, to contact them.
