In a recent incident in hastings/" title="Hastings" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hastings Town Centre, Patrick Doran, a 41-year-old man residing at Robertson Terrace, Hastings, has been taken into custody on charges of assaulting and sexually assaulting a woman.
The incident, which occurred on Robertson Street at approximately 5.25 pm on Wednesday, January 17, was initially reported as an altercation between a man and a woman. When the police arrived, they found the woman victimised by assault, while the suspect had fled the area. The woman also reported a sexual assault by the same man.
