Officers have charged a man following a burglary in which more than £4,000 of perfume and aftershave was stolen from Regent Beauty Shop in Shanklin. The burglary took place in the early hours of the morning on 8 November. John Duckworth, 45, of no fixed abode, has been charged with burglary and was remanded in custody to appear at Newport Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Tuesday 12 November).
