Deadly Fight on Thessaly Road
Police were called at 6:12pm on Monday, 2 March, after reports of a stabbing during a group altercation on Thessaly Road, Battersea. Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene, where a 25-year-old man was found seriously injured.Victim Named as Tai Folkes
The victim, Tai Folkes, was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead. Specialist officers are now supporting his grieving family.Suspect Arrested and Charged
On Monday, 9 March, Met Police arrested a 46-year-old man in Perry Barr, Birmingham. Asher Edwards, from Lambeth, was charged with murder the following day. He is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court this morning, Wednesday 11 March.More from West Midlands Police
