Man charged with murder after lethal stabbing in Battersea
Fatal Brawl on Thessaly Road
Police were scrambled at 6:12pm on Monday, 2 March, following reports of a stabbing amid a group fight on Thessaly Road, Battersea. Officers and paramedics arrived to find a 25-year-old man gravely wounded.
Victim Identified as Tai Folkes
The injured man, Tai Folkes, received emergency treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital, where he later died. Specialist officers are now helping his family through their grief.
Suspect Nabbed and Charged
On Monday, 9 March, Met Police arrested a 46-year-old man in Perry Barr, Birmingham. Asher Edwards, from Lambeth, was charged with murder the next day. He is scheduled to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday 11 March.
