Man charged in connection with firearms discharge in Seven Kings

Detectives investigating a firearms discharge outside a mosque in Seven Kings on Thursday, 9 May have charged a man. Jermaine Wright, 28 of Lebus Street N17, was charged on Thursday, 23 May with possession of a firearm; possession of a prohibited weapon; possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate; and assaulting a police officer x2. He was remanded to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 24 May. Detectives from the Trident and Area Crime Command continue to investigate.
