Man Charged over Six City Breakings
Police investigating a series of burglaries in Southsea have charged a man with six offences. The charges are in connection with burglaries at Southsea Tennis Club, Kings Theatre, Harbour Vets and the Garage Lounge, over March and April. Lee Edward White (36) of Lidiard Gardens, Southsea, has been charged with four counts of burglary other than dwelling – theft and two counts of burglary other than dwelling – with intent to steal. He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning (April 10).
