Police investigating the attempted murder of a 35-year-old woman in North End, Portsmouth on Saturday, July 9, have charged a 42 year-old man. Police investigating the attempted murder of a 35-year-old woman in North End, Portsmouth on Saturday, July 9, have charged a 42 year-old man. Dler Fariq Mohammed of no fixed address has been charged with one count of attempted murder and has been remanded to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today, Monday, July 11. A 41 year-old man from Portsmouth arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder as part of this investigation has been released without charge and will face no further action. Officers are continuing to patrol North End to update members of the local community.
