A 51-year-old man has been charged with multiple bribery offences following a detailed investigation led by Counter Terrorism Policing.
Nathan Gill, of North Wales, has been charged via postal requisition with:
- One count of conspiracy to commit bribery under the Criminal Law Act 1977
- Eight counts of bribery under the Bribery Act 2010
Gill is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, February 24, where he will face the charges.
CPS Statement on Charges
The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed its decision to charge Gill, citing sufficient evidence and the public interest in pursuing prosecution.
A CPS spokesperson added: “After careful consideration of the evidence presented by Counter Terrorism Policing, we have authorised charges against Nathan Gill. Bribery, particularly in the context of national security, is taken extremely seriously, and we will present the case fully in court.”
