Man charged with Reading Street robbery

A man has been charged with robbery. Thomas Aspel, aged 20, of no fixed abode was charged with one count of robbery on Tuesday 18 June. It is in connection with an incident in Forbury Gardens on Sunday 16 June in which the victim, a man in his twenties, was punched and had his bike stolen. Aspel was remanded into custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on 16 July.
