High Wycombe Man Busted Over Terrifying Sex Attacks
Andrew Dent, 54, from Desborough Road, High Wycombe, faces a string of horrific charges after a Thames Valley Police probe. On Tuesday, 24th February, he was slapped with nine counts of rape, five counts of sexual assault by penetration, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of voyeurism.
Victims Targeted via Dating Apps Before Shocking Attacks
The terrifying offences centre on two women Dent met through a dating website. Both were brutally attacked, strangled, and assaulted on separate occasions.
- A woman in her 30s from South Wales was assaulted at a West Berkshire hotel on 19th June 2024. During the attack, Dent took intimate photos without her consent.
- The second victim, a woman in her 50s from London, was attacked at a property in Henley-on-Thames on 26th October 2024.
Dent Held on Remand as Court Date Looms
Dent is still in custody and due in Reading Crown Court on Wednesday, 4th March. Thames Valley Police continue their investigation as the community reels from these shocking crimes.
