A violent knife attack in Canterbury’s busy High Street has ended with a 13-year jail sentence. Mohammed Nour Hgar stabbed 23-year-old Samare Gerezgihir to death after a late-night brawl.
Deadly Fight on Canterbury High Street
The deadly clash happened just before 11.30pm on 10 October 2024. Hgar, who was armed with a knife, plunged it into the victim’s chest, causing catastrophic injuries.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene but couldn’t save Samare. He died in the early hours of 11 October.
