Officers attended the scene, but the rider failed to stop and drove off.  Enquiries were completed and the vehicle was tracked down to an address in Conifer Way, where it was seized.

A local man, aged 19, later attended Swanley police station where he was interviewed under caution about several offences.

Inspector Daniel Hinrich from Swanley’s Community Safety Unit said: ‘We’d received reports from the local community about antisocial riding across the town and we know how much of an impact this behaviour can have.

‘Officers are keen to crack down on nuisance vehicles and we regularly work with residents and business owners to gather information that allows effective and timely enforcement.

‘We’d ask people to continue reporting this type of offence via our website so that we can make best use of our resources and continue to improve quality of life for the community.’
