Mugurel Nica was sentenced to life imprisonment today (October 1) after being found guilty of stabbing his wife, Ana Maria Murariu, to death.

Chilling 999 Call Leads Police to Crime Scene

A family member made a desperate 999 call in the early hours of February 28 from a home on Jubilee Road, england/england/england/perivale/”>perivale/”>perivale/”>Perivale. Officers rushed to the scene and found Nica, who was immediately arrested.

Ana Maria was discovered in critical condition. Police attempted CPR before paramedics arrived, but tragically, she died at the scene from her stab wounds.

Life Behind Bars After Murder Conviction

Nica was charged with murder on March 1 and convicted at Southwark Crown Court on September 16. Today, the court handed down a life sentence with a minimum term of 21 years.
