Kent Police was called at 5.40am on Saturday 13 April 2024 to report that two people had entered an address in the village and had stolen items including jewellery, cash and keys.
It is alleged that the victim – a woman in her 80s – was assaulted during the incident.
A swift investigation led to the arrest of a man and a woman that morning in Folkestone.

Detectives from East Kent CID later charged Anthony Foord, 45, with aggravated burglary and Amie Lynn, 38, with aggravated burglary and assaulting an emergency worker.
Mr Foord, of Cherry Garden Avenue and Ms Lynn, of no fixed address, were both remanded to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15 April.
