Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have provided an update on the investigation into a recent car crash and suspected kidnapping incident in Alverstoke, Gosport. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, January 6, has left the community on edge as authorities work to piece together the events that transpired.

The sequence of events began when police received a call at 11:04 PM reporting a collision involving two vehicles in Alverstoke. According to reports, a white Ford Focus collided with a building, while a black BMW 1 Series struck two pedestrians on Village Road. The pedestrians, a man in his 50s and a 16-year-old girl were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, both are in stable condition and not considered to be in life-threatening condition.
