A police operation targeting traffic offences in Folkestone resulted in the arrest of two individuals and more than 20 motorists being reported for various driving violations. The operation, conducted by officers and members of the Kent Special Constabulary, took place on Tuesday, 22 October 2024, in the Sandgate Road, Park Farm, and town centre areas.
In addition, four vehicles with foreign licenses were issued fixed-penalty tickets for roadside stops and mobile phone use.

PC Kevin Marsh, who was involved in the operation, emphasized the importance of road safety, saying, “The consequences of collisions caused by dangerous driving and unsafe vehicles can be catastrophic for pedestrians and other road users. I urge everyone to make sure they comply with the law.”
