Gloucestershire Police have released an e-fit of a man they seek to identify in connection with two separate assaults on a woman in Gloucester. The incidents occurred within days of each other, leaving the victim traumatised and injured.

The first assault took place on Saturday, April 13, around 13:00 on Pippin Close in Abbeymead. The man verbally abused the woman and attempted to strike her, but she managed to evade the attack. The suspect, unknown to the victim, then walked off toward Lobleys Drive. Shockingly, the same man confronted her again in Brockworth, continuing the verbal abuse.

Just days later, on Tuesday, April 16, around 10:15 the assailant struck again. This time, he approached the victim from behind on James Grieve Road in Abbeymead. Using an unknown object, he assaulted her, aiming for her face. Although he attempted a second blow, the woman escaped. Unfortunately, she sustained an eye injury during this second assault and now awaits surgery.

The police describe the suspect as a white man in his 60s of medium height and stocky build, with short grey hair. On both occasions, he wore a blue top, black jeans, and carried a rucksack. His local accent was distinctive. During the second incident, he was accompanied by a younger man, also white and in his 30s, wearing a hat with his mouth and nose concealed by a face covering.

Gloucestershire Constabulary urges anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incidents to come forward. You can report any details through their online form, quoting incident number 41 from April 16.
