Portsmouth Charity Box Chancer Caught on Camera Again

This is the moment when bungling serial charity thief, Lee White, 35, of Locksway Road, Milton was caught on CCTV stealing yet another charity tin, this time from the Milton Arms. White, who has a string of previous convictions for similar offences, was already out on license after stealing a staff tips pot from Pie & Vinyl in Castle Road. Laughable this is one-month LESS than he was sentenced for in 2013 for identical crimes. White, now serving 12-weeks for his latest string of offences, was convicted on Friday of:? 20 December – Tips Pot stolen from Pie & Vinyl, Castle Road? 28 January – Charity Tin stolen from Bangkok Restaurant, Albert Road? 3 February – Charity Tin stolen from Thatched House, Milton? 5 CCTV buyneurontinonlinehere.com when a tip jar and a box for The Rowans Hospice were the first to be stolen, from Le Cafe Parisien in Lord Montgomery Way, on 27th February, 2013. The Osprey fish and chip shop in Highland Road had a box for the Gurkha Welfare Trust swiped on 9th March. Ashleigh Sight Care opticians in Fratton Road, Fratton, had a box for the Association for the Blind taken on 11th March. Also stolen in 2013 were an RNLI box from the Meon Valley Pub on Meon Road, a Marie Curie box from Lucile’s in Marmion Road, a box for the Portsmouth Association for the Blind from the Lawrence Arms in Lawrence Road, and a tip box from the Tenth Hole Tea Rooms on Eastern Parade, all in Southsea, and a tip box from Cafe Nut in London Road in North End, Portsmouth. White was jailed for four-months in 2013 after admitting the nine counts of theft, which included six charity boxes and three tip jars from cafés.
