Detectives leading the investigation into the tragic murder of 43-year-old Koray Alpergin in Loughton last October have made substantial progress, with charges brought against several individuals. The victim was discovered near the Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate by Essex Police on the morning of October 15, 2022, and pronounced dead at the scene.

After a series of inquiries, the Metropolitan Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="95853">Metropolitan Police took the lead in the investigation, and detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been providing ongoing support to Koray’s grieving family.
