In a significant ruling at Reading Crown Court today, Caleb Fleming, aged 26, from Long Furlong Drive, Slough, received a sentence of 15 years and nine months imprisonment with an additional four years on licence. Fleming had previously entered a guilty plea to several charges including causing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and drug-related offences.

The incident, which occurred on 21 November 2023, left the community in shock as Fleming shot a man in his twenties with a 9mm bullet in Tamarisk Way, Slough. The victim, who required surgical intervention to remove the bullet, has fortunately recovered since the attack.
