A former Sussex Police investigator has pleaded guilty to misconduct in public office after starting an inappropriate sexual relationship with a woman he met during a live investigation.

David Gamlin, 58, admitted the offence at Southwark Crown Court on Monday (June 30), where it was revealed that the former officer pursued the relationship between June and September 2021 while serving with Worthing CID.
