In a dramatic turn of events at Exeter Crown Court today, a 16-year-old boy accused of attacking two fellow pupils and a teacher at a prestigious private school claimed he ‘doesn’t remember’ the incident that shook Blundell’s School in Tiverton, Devon.

The court heard that the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, allegedly armed himself with three claw hammers before launching the assault in June last year. Two boys and a teacher were reportedly attacked in the boarding house during the early hours of the morning, with the victims sustaining severe injuries, including skull fractures, rib fractures, punctured lungs, and internal bleeding.
