Three teenage suspects have been charged following a harrowing incident involving a stolen car that culminated in a serious collision in Maidstone. The event unfolded around 11:55 pm on Monday, May 13, 2024, when a police patrol near Lenham attempted to intercept a Mercedes reportedly stolen from Medway.

Despite police efforts to halt the vehicle, the driver refused, prompting a pursuit into Maidstone town centre. Tragically, the stolen Mercedes collided with another car on St Peter’s Street. The occupant of the second vehicle sustained injuries and was rushed to a London hospital, where they remain in a serious condition. In the aftermath of the collision, authorities arrested a man and two teenage boys, all of whom were taken into custody for further investigation.
