Sussex Police are urging witnesses to come forward following an assault on a 17-year-old boy on the Eastbourne Promenade. The incident occurred between 4:05 pm and 4:20 pm on November 10, near the area between the pier and the bandstand.
The assault, which involved a group of seven boys and young men, resulted in the victim sustaining a hand injury consistent with a stabbing. The teenager, who was with two friends at the time, sought treatment at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and has since been discharged.
Six Arrests Made in Connection with the Assault
Six suspects, aged between 14 and 20, have been arrested in connection with the incident, including one individual on suspicion of wounding with intent. All the suspects have been released on bail under strict conditions as police continue their investigation.
