Detectives investigating a serious assault in Harlow have charged three men in connection with a violent attack that left a 17-year-old boy with life-changing injuries.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday, 2 February, saw the teenage victim found injured in a car park in the Guilfords area. Police say the boy had been subjected to a serious assault, and his e-bike was also stolen during the attack.
The boy continues to undergo treatment and rehabilitation for his injuries.
Ongoing Investigation by Serious Crime Directorate
Essex Police’s Serious Crime Directorate has been leading the investigation, with officers working tirelessly over recent weeks to piece together the circumstances surrounding the brutal assault.
As a result of extensive enquiries, three men — aged 36, 29, and 23 — have now been charged and remanded in custody, police confirmed today.

Despite the charges, detectives say the investigation is still ongoing and are appealing for the public’s help.
A police spokesperson said:
“This was a particularly violent attack that has left a young person with life-altering injuries. We are committed to ensuring all those responsible are brought to justice.”
“We continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
