Three men charged over brutal assault on 17-year-old in Harlow
Teen left with life-changing injuries in vicious attack
Detectives have charged three men following a savage assault that left a 17-year-old boy seriously injured in Harlow. The attack happened on Sunday, 2 February, in a car park in the Guilfords area. The teenager was found badly hurt after being targeted in a violent assault, during which his e-bike was stolen.
The young victim remains in hospital, undergoing treatment and rehabilitation for his life-altering injuries.
Suspects charged and held in custody
Essex Police’s Serious Crime Directorate has led the investigation, working tirelessly to uncover the details of what happened. Thanks to intensive enquiries, three men aged 36, 29, and 23 have now been charged and remanded in custody, police confirmed.
Police issue urgent public appeal
Despite the arrests, the investigation continues, and officers are urging members of the public to come forward with any information.
“This was a particularly violent attack that has left a young person with life-altering injuries. We are committed to ensuring all those responsible are brought to justice,” a police spokesperson said.
“We continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
