Three charged with Robbery and Kidnap
Three men have been charged with robbery and kidnap following an incident in Lower Earley on Wednesday (24/4). Andrew Youngman, aged 34, of no fixed abode, Anthony Pieper, aged 34, of South View Avenue, Caversham, and Thomas Latimer, aged 31 of no fixed abode, were all charged with one count of robbery and one count of kidnap. The charges are in connection with an incident in Lower Earley at around 2pm on Wednesday (24/4) in which a man was threatened with a knife and taken to an address against his will. The three men appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court today (26/4). Pieper has been remanded in custody, Youngman and Latimer have been bailed. They will appear at Reading Crown Court on 28 May.
