CENTRAL LINE ATTACK Tottenham Man Jailed for 16 Months After Shocking Sexual Assault on Central Line

A 22-year-old england/Tottenhamtottenham/”>Tottenham man has been locked up after sexually assaulting a woman and masturbating on a wales/Centralcentral-wales/”>central/”>Central line train — before attacking two police officers during his arrest.

Disturbing Incident at Marble Arch Station

Rohan Uddin, of Bedford Road, Tottenham, targeted a lone woman in her 20s just after 9pm on Tuesday 29 April 2025. Sitting beside her in an almost empty eastbound Central line carriage at Marble Arch station, he sexually assaulted her and Beganbegan masturbating.

The brave victim moved away to safety but snapped a clear photo of Uddin, helping police to quickly identify him and issue a wanted alert.

Arrest Turns Violent

Uddin was stopped by Metropolitan Police officers in June for an unrelated matter. When officers discovered he was wanted by British Transport Police (BTP), they arrested him — only for him to assault two police officers during the process. This led to extra charges being piled on.

Ten Years Behind Bars or More: Sexual Harm Prevention Order Imposed

At snaresbrook/" https:>Snaresbrook Crown Court on 16 September, Uddin pleaded guilty to sexual assault, outraging public decency, and assaulting emergency workers. He was sentenced to 16 months’ imprisonment and hit with a £187 court surcharge.
