Two charged with attempted burglar

Two men have been arrested and charged following an attempted burglary at a house in Dartford. Orpington residents Oliver Cooke, 21, of Church Hill Wood, and Danny Webb, 20, of Dryland Avenue, were taken into custody in the early hours of Wednesday 6 November 2019. Both have since been charged with attempting to burgle a property in the Warren Road area of Dartford at about 1.20am the same day, and with allowing themselves to be carried in a stolen vehicle which was being driven dangerously. Mr Cooke has also been charged with being in possession of an object for use in theft, specifically a screwdriver. Both were remanded in custody when they appeared before Medway magistrates on Thursday 7 November and will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday 5 December.
