Detectives investigating a reported firearm discharge in Penge have charged two men in connection with the incident, which took place on Sunday, March 2.

Tyrone Elliott, 31, of Rosewell Close, Bromley, has been charged with:

  • Possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life
  • Possession of a firearm whilst prohibited

He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 28 March, where he was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear at Harrow Crown Court on Friday, 25 April.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="191307">Metropolitan Police said enquiries remain ongoing, and the charges represent a significant step forward in the investigation.
