Whitstable woman receives 18 months driving ban and a fine

Sascha Potts, aged 36, of Anthony Crescent, Whitstable, was sentenced on 1 February 2022 at Margate Magistrates’ Court. She pleaded guilty to driving when above the legal drink-drive limit, in Whitstable, on 29 December 2021. When stopped she gave a reading of 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. She was disqualified from driving for a total of 18 months and fined £500. She was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £85 and costs of £50.
