Man Injured in Early-Morning Shooting Outside King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill
Overview
Police are investigating after a man was shot outside King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The London Ambulance Service alerted officers at 2.32am to reports of a shooting outside the hospital. Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old man with gunshot injuries.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition has been confirmed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Police presence
A significant police presence remains in the area, and officers are continuing to patrol the local community as investigations continue.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Enquiries are ongoing. If you were a witness or have any information which may assist, please call police on 101, quoting reference 545/30Jul.”

Appeal for witnesses
Detectives are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around Denmark Hill to come forward as they work to establish the circumstances of the incident.
