Two attempted robberies shook Mottisfont Road yesterday afternoon. The scary incidents happened between 2pm and 3pm on the footbridge linking Mottisfont Road and Bracondale Road.
Victims Threatened but No Harm Done
Both victims were threatened with a knife, but thankfully, no one was hurt and nothing was stolen. The Met Police confirmed:
“On Wednesday, 20 November police received reports of attempted robberies on Mottisfont Road, Abbey Wood. Two victims reported they were threatened with a knife between 14:00hrs and 15:00hrs. There were no reported injuries and nothing was stolen.”
Police Hunt Still On – No Arrests Yet
The Met added that enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.
Residents are urged to stay alert while police continue their investigation into the brazen footbridge attacks.
