Fifty fire fighters called to Large grass fire in the New Forest
Hampshire Fire and rescue have mobilised eight fire appliances and a command and control unit to a large grass fire in The New forest in the early hours of Tuesday. Crew have been sent to tackle a well developed and spreading fire at Rollestone Road in Holbury. It’s understood that a large area of gorse bush and undergrowth are alight. Crews from Fire fighters from Hardley, Beaulieu, Hythe, Eastliegh, and Redbridge have been called to the incident Hampshire fire and rescue said: An area the size of approximately 50 football pitches was affected by the fire.
