Isle of Wight Ambulance Service Launches Cutting-Edge LifeX Communication System
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service has gone digital with Frequentis LifeX, a top-notch control room solution that revolutionises how dispatchers communicate with ambulance crews. This new system uses advanced voice and data tech to boost reliability and speed up emergency responses.
New Tech Streamlines 999 and NHS 111 Responses
LifeX went live in February, replacing the outdated communication setup that had reached its limits. After five weeks in action, dispatchers say the system has made communication smoother and faster, helping crews attend to 999 and NHS 111 calls more efficiently.
The Isle of Wight team thoroughly tested LifeX, helping the national rollout gain momentum as the programme moves into its delivery phase across the UK.
Experts Praise LifeX for Transforming Emergency Response
