Knife attacker still on the loose, say Met Police
A man in his 40s was stabbed outside a row of shops on one of Dagenham’s busiest streets yesterday afternoon.
Attack on Becontree Avenue Sends Victim to Hospital
The victim was knifed shortly before 4:10pm on Tuesday, March 24, on Becontree Avenue. Emergency crews rushed to the scene after frantic 999 calls.
Paramedics treated him for a single stab wound before speeding him to hospital. Fortunately, police say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
No Arrests Yet – Police Hunt Knifeman
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the attacker remains at large this afternoon. No arrests have been made so far, and investigations are ongoing.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing or has any information to come forward and assist with the enquiry.
“We are keen to hear from witnesses who may help identify the offender,” a police spokesperson said.
